We are recruiting for a KS2 Coordinator (also class teacher) to join a founding British international school in Vietnam (located near Hanoi). This is a core teaching role with an allowance for leading the KS2 phase (Years 3–6).

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a KS2 class, delivering consistently strong lessons.
  • Lead the KS2 phase academically and pastorally, supporting staff and pupils.
  • Drive curriculum development and ensure effective assessment.
  • Line manage KS2 teachers and lead weekly team meetings.
  • Oversee pastoral care, behaviour, and parent engagement.

Requirements:

  • PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and relevant degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ successful KS2 teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
  • Experience using data to raise standards and improve outcomes.

Desirable:

  • Prior leadership of a subject or initiative across a key stage.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and willingness to relocate to Vietnam.
