KS2 Coordinator (Vietnam)
We are recruiting for a KS2 Coordinator (also class teacher) to join a founding British international school in Vietnam (located near Hanoi). This is a core teaching role with an allowance for leading the KS2 phase (Years 3β6).
Responsibilities:
- Teach a KS2 class, delivering consistently strong lessons.
- Lead the KS2 phase academically and pastorally, supporting staff and pupils.
- Drive curriculum development and ensure effective assessment.
- Line manage KS2 teachers and lead weekly team meetings.
- Oversee pastoral care, behaviour, and parent engagement.
Requirements:
- PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and relevant degree.
- Minimum 2 years' successful KS2 teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
- Experience using data to raise standards and improve outcomes.
- Desirable: prior leadership of a subject or initiative across a key stage.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and willingness to relocate to Vietnam.
