A leading Specialist Centre in New Giza is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team supporting children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs. This is a high-impact role within a modern, well-resourced SEN environment.
Role Overview
You will assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions for children with diverse communication profiles. The role involves close collaboration with SEN specialists, psychologists, and educators to provide integrated support for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive paediatric speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary SEN team
- Implement AAC systems when appropriate
- Provide training and guidance to parents and educators
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and contribute to IEPs
- Stay current with best practice and emerging research
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration (or equivalent recognised body)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification paediatric experience
- Strong knowledge of child language development and communication disorders
- Skilled in standardised assessments and evidence-based intervention
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Confident working within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong digital literacy for assessments and reporting
- Clean criminal record and safeguarding clearance
Desirable
- Additional specialist certifications (ASD, fluency, voice, AAC, etc.)
- Experience in international or multicultural settings
- Knowledge of local SEN landscape
- Arabic proficiency
- Experience delivering training or workshops
