THE ROLE
As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will own the delivery of full stack features in Ruby on Rails, using AI assisted development as your primary workflow and taking responsibility for quality from backend logic through to frontend release. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Deliver full stack features using Ruby on Rails, from backend logic through to frontend delivery.
- Use agentic AI tools such as Claude or Codex as a core part of your development workflow.
- Act as the human in the loop, reviewing, testing, and owning the quality of AI generated code.
- Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions within a small senior team.
- Work closely with the wider business, shaping what is built as well as how it is built.
- Operate comfortably in an environment with ambiguity and minimal process overhead.
