Overview

The business has recently terminated its subscription product and lacks internal testing capacity. We are seeking a UAT Manager to lead end-to-end testing, establish repeatable processes for future use, and ensure smooth delivery of key projects. The role requires someone who can work independently (\”head down\”) while collaborating effectively with distributed finance and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UAT planning and execution for subscription product changes, including creating, running, and validating test plans.

• Coordinate with finance stakeholders to manage workflows and approvals.

• Execute tests across Shopify, Business Central, Stripe, and GoCardless environments, including creating and charging subscriptions.

• Manage batches of test orders, run due diligence, and hand over results to internal teams for validation.

• Document processes and establish a repeatable UAT function for ongoing use.

• Identify blockers, risks, and data discrepancies, working with teams to resolve them.

• Support system consolidation checks and simple Excel-based reconciliation.

• Report progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing UAT across multi-system workflows, ideally with subscription or e-commerce platforms.

• Confident working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience building or setting up UAT processes is a strong advantage.

• Comfortable with Shopify, Business Central, Stripe, and GoCardless.

• Solid Excel skills for exports, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to tight deadlines in a structured environment.
