The Role
- Lead data architecture design and delivery across complex client programmes
- Define and implement modern, cloud-based data architectures aligned to enterprise strategy
- Provide best-practice guidance on data management, governance, and modelling
- Operate in a client-facing environment, engaging senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to capability growth through mentoring, thought leadership, and, at senior levels, revenue ownership
- Work closely with engineering, analytics, and platform teams as part of integrated delivery squads
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect within financial services or similarly regulated environments
- Proven capability designing enterprise data platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Deep knowledge of data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models
- Experience with cloud migration patterns, data lakes, and modern data management tooling
- Ability to align data architecture across multiple programmes and business units
- Consulting experience with confidence operating in client-facing roles
- Clear communication skills with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders
