The Role: As Director of Research Partnerships, you will lead the development of a new commercial research vertical, helping external partners unlock value from large-scale real-world datasets and operational insights. You will:
- Build and grow a network of strategic research and commercial partnerships
- Develop relationships with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organisations, research institutions, and other external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to leverage real-world data to support clinical trials, research programmes, and evidence generation initiatives
- Translate complex datasets and analytical capabilities into compelling commercial propositions
- Collaborate with partners to design, develop, and operationalise research programmes
- Lead external engagement activities, including industry events, presentations, and stakeholder roadshows
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across data, product, analytics, and operations
- Manage and develop a small research partnerships team
- Support both the commercial development and operational delivery of research initiatives
- Contribute to the creation of a significant new revenue stream and growth area for the business
Your Skills & Experience: You will bring a combination of commercial, analytical, and partnership-building expertise. Key requirements include:
- Strong experience developing strategic partnerships within healthcare, life sciences, health data, research, or related sectors
- Ability to understand, interrogate, and communicate complex data concepts to external stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with experience identifying and developing new revenue opportunities
- Knowledge of clinical research, clinical trials, real-world evidence, or health data ecosystems
- Experience working with pharmaceutical organisations, healthcare providers, research institutions, or public sector bodies
- Comfort operating in both strategic and execution-focused environments
