The Role and Deliverables

  • Lead the hands-on delivery of experimentation programmes for AI-powered customer products and features
  • Design, build and implement testing frameworks for conversational AI, recommendation engines and other AI-driven experiences
  • Manage controlled feature rollouts using LaunchDarkly or a similar feature-flagging platform, ensuring customer experience and conversion performance are protected
  • Define experiment design, audience targeting and success metrics to assess the commercial impact of AI product changes
  • Instrument experiments, tracking and event schemas to capture meaningful behavioural and performance data
  • Work closely with product, analytics and delivery teams to evaluate AI variants, customer journeys and feature performance in production environments

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and running experiments in live production environments
  • Practical experience with LaunchDarkly or a comparable feature-flagging platform
  • Expertise using experimentation and optimisation platforms such as Adobe Target, Optimizely or similar
  • Experience rolling out digital products or features through a structured experimentation process
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of customer-facing features on conversion, engagement and commercial outcomes
  • Experience implementing analytics tracking, event instrumentation and experiment measurement frameworks
  • Comfortable working with AI-powered products, conversational experiences, recommendation engines or LLM-driven features
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles alongside product experimentation methodologies
  • Ability to think strategically about how AI changes traditional experimentation approaches and customer journeys
