The Role

They are seeking an SEO Lead to establish and own the SEO function from the ground up. This is a foundational, high-autonomy role reporting directly to the CMO, responsible for building a robust SEO strategy, managing technical challenges, and scaling the function to drive significant growth.

You will be the go-to expert for all things SEO, shaping processes, tools, and best practices, while also managing external agency relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Build and own the SEO function from scratch, with full ownership and accountability.

  • Lead technical SEO strategy including migrations, troubleshooting, and optimisations.

  • Ensure SEO is a driver of growth across both consumer and enterprise-facing products.

  • Manage relationships with agencies and other third-party vendors.

  • Scale SEO capabilities and infrastructure, introducing processes and tools to support growth.

  • Monitor performance, provide actionable insights, and continuously improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.


Candidate Profile
  • Strong technical SEO expertise (highest priority).

  • Experience working in environments where SEO is a primary driver of growth.

  • Skilled at managing complex technical issues, migrations, and troubleshooting.

  • Comfortable taking full ownership of SEO strategy and implementation.
