The Role
- Lead and evolve the organisation’s data governance framework, driving maturity and scalability.
- Embed data governance into business-as-usual processes across multiple teams and regions.
- Partner with Data Stewards and senior stakeholders to strengthen data ownership and accountability.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Architecture, and Technology teams to align governance with wider data initiatives.
- Drive improvements in data quality, metadata management, and reference data practices.
- Oversee governance tooling, including cataloguing and lineage capabilities.
- Influence senior leadership to align data governance with strategic priorities.
- Lead and develop a small data governance team while leveraging external consultants.
- Support global alignment of governance practices and contribute to broader transformation programmes.
