We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Strategist to join our team on a high-profile project. This newly signed-off role focuses on delivering a major new promotional programme through to December, with the goal of demonstrating measurable impact and unlocking long-term retained work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the insights reporting for the clients' promotional programme, with a focus on testing what comms methods are driving engagement and conversions.
- Develop and maintain a scenario planning tool to forecast bottom-line impact based on performance metrics such as open rates and click-throughs.
- Design and implement a clear data strategy and measurement plan for September–December campaigns.
- Immerse yourself in the client project to understand the target audience and identify opportunities for deeper personalisation and optimisation.
- Monitor, report on, and refine performance for specific campaigns; prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the customer strategy team to ensure insights inform ongoing comms and loyalty initiatives.
- Support other clients' monthly campaign reporting across owned channels (social, web, app) and provide storytelling guidance to junior analysts on the team.
Requirements
- Proven background in CRM planning and data strategy within an agency or multi-client environment.
- Strong experience with end-to-end measurement across email, web and digital channels, confident defining top-line KPIs and success metrics.
- Hands-on skills in insight generation and scenario modelling to inform strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and GA4 is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable mentoring and supporting more junior team members with narrative development and reporting.
