Job Description
Senior Data Analyst
Bromley (Hybrid – 3 days per week in-office)
£60,000 – £85,000
The Company
An innovative subscription-based prize platform is entering its next phase of hypergrowth and they’re building out their first in-house data function to match. Operating at the intersection of entertainment, e-commerce, and soft gaming, the business is scaling fast, with international markets on the horizon and tier 1 commercial partnerships already in place. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of data within a business where insights directly influence growth, marketing, and product strategy.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Data Analyst, you'll work directly with leadership across marketing, product, and tech to establish scalable data infrastructure and deliver high-impact commercial insights. With a clean slate to build from, this is the ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is ready to take full ownership of the data function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a robust data warehouse and ETL processes to support rapid growth and market expansion.
- Develop and own dashboards in Looker Studio; provide clear, actionable insights using SQL and related tools.
- Partner with key stakeholders (Head of Marketing, CTO, Head of Product) to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Manage data priorities, address ad hoc and urgent requests efficiently, and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular data audits and support the development of a long-term data strategy.
- Act as a trusted commercial partner—translating data into value-driving decisions across acquisition, retention, and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced & technically strong: previous experience in analytical roles within e-commerce, gaming, or similarly fast-paced sectors, with advanced SQL skills, Python and proficiency in Looker Studio (or equivalent tools).
- Builder mindset:Hands-on experience designing ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions from the ground up, with the structure and initiative to scale processes in a growing business.
- Commercially driven: Able to translate data into clear, actionable insights that drive real business impact across marketing, product, and customer experience.
- Collaborative & credible: Strong communicator who thrives cross-functionally, manages competing priorities, and engages confidently with senior stakeholders, while being committed to long-term impact, not short-term contracts.
Why Now?
This is a pivotal time to join. The business has gone from 10 to 50 employees in the past year and is set to expand further across new geographies. With data playing a central role in that journey, you'll be joining at the exact moment where your input can shape the entire future of the analytics function.
