Job Description
Senior Customer Analyst – Loyalty, Retention & Growth
Hybrid – London (2 days in office)
£70,000-75,000 base + discretionary bonus + pension up to 12%
A leading global online marketplace is seeking a Senior Customer Analyst to join its Customer Analytics function. The team focuses on understanding, optimising, and growing the customer base through data-led insights, storytelling, and experimentation.
This role will play a key part in shaping acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategy, working cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to turn insight into commercial impact.
Responsibilities include
- Owning customer analytics projects such as segmentation, churn modelling, LTV, and lifecycle optimisation
- Designing and analysing A/B and multivariate tests to shape acquisition and retention strategies
- Using SQL and dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Looker to communicate insight across the business
- Partnering with marketing and commercial teams to identify and influence customer growth opportunities
- Translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations that improve customer performance
Requirements
- Strong SQL experience and familiarity with modern data environments
- Proven experience in ecommerce, tech, or other data-led B2C environments
- Ability to translate analytical outputs into strategic recommendations and tell clear data stories
- Experience designing or analysing A/B testing and customer lifecycle analytics
- Python skills for statistical modelling or automation are an advantage
This role offers a hybrid setup (typically two days per week in the London office), a base salary of approximately £70,000 plus discretionary bonus and pension up to 12%.
