This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created Senior Data Strategist position where you’ll shape CRM strategy, elevate data capabilities, and influence major customer‑experience programmes. The Role
As Senior Data Strategist, you will:
- Own and deliver CRM strategy for clients, focusing on how data can drive ROI and hit key performance metrics.
- Develop and orchestrate comms plans across complex projects, leveraging data and technology to optimise customer journeys.
- Write and refine data project briefs, setting clear technical and analytical requirements for specialist teams.
- Apply analytical thinking across CRM delivery, translating complex concepts into simple, actionable insights.
- Craft compelling data‑driven stories and presentations for senior stakeholders using tools like PowerPoint.
- Support the development of KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
- Use tools such as Tableau and Adobe Analytics to surface insights and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders up to senior management level.
- Collaborate with third‑party partners (e.g., Braze, agencies) to enhance data use cases.
- Lead strategic outputs across project teams and mentor junior colleagues where needed.
Your Skills & Experience
You will need:
- Strong experience working with CRM principles, channels, and data‑driven strategy.
- Proven ability to use insight, analytics, and behavioural economics to shape customer strategies.
- Understanding of Performance Marketing and its interplay with CRM.
- Working proficiency with tools such as Tableau and Adobe Analytics.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using the wider Microsoft or Google Suite.
- A strategic mindset with the ambition to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insight‑led stories to senior stakeholders.
