I'm hiring a Senior CRM Analyst to join a well-known UK retail business, helping to strengthen how they measure and optimise marketing performance. This is a core hire for the team, focused on building and embedding best-practice campaign measurement across CRM.

Role

You’ll sit within the CRM analytics team, working across marketing, product, and commercial teams to:

  • Define how campaigns should be measured
  • Improve understanding of incremental uplift and ROI
  • Upskill the wider team on measurement methodologies

This is less about building dashboards - and more about thinking critically about what “good” looks like in marketing performance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and develop CRM campaign measurement frameworks
  • Evaluate performance across channels (email, app, vouchers, direct mail)
  • Design and implement test & control methodologies to measure incremental impact
  • Analyse campaign performance and translate results into clear recommendations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define success metrics and improve targeting
  • Coach and support other analysts on measurement best practice
  • Help move the team towards commercially focused performance reporting (e.g. profit contribution)

What you bring

  • Must-haves
  • Strong SQL skills (your primary tool)
  • Experience in CRM / marketing / campaign analytics
  • Strong understanding of campaign measurement methodologies
  • Experience working with B2C customer data at scale
  • Strong stakeholder skills - able to explain insights clearly and influence decisions
  • Strongly preferred
  • Retail or high-frequency customer environment
  • Experience across multiple CRM channels (email, app, direct mail, etc.)
  • Exposure to CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Not the right fit if

  • You're primarily a BI / dashboard-focused analyst
  • You've only worked in B2B environments
  • You lack experience in campaign measurement and experimentation

What they're looking for

  • 3-7 years' experience
  • Someone ready to step into a senior analytical role
  • A commercial thinker - focused on impact, not just reporting
  • Comfortable working across teams and influencing ways of working
  • Someone who can work in ambiguity and challenge how things are measured

The team

3 CRM Analytics Managers + wider analyst team. This role will be the go-to specialist for measurement. Focus initially on improving measurement frameworks, then broader project work.

Why this role

  • Genuine ownership of a key capability gap (marketing measurement)
  • High visibility across marketing and commercial teams
  • Opportunity to shape how campaign success is defined and measured
  • Strong, collaborative team culture (very people-focused business)
  • Flexible working (typically 1 day per week in office)

Package

  • Salary up to £55,000
  • Bonus up to 15%
  • Hybrid working + strong culture and benefits

Interview process

  • Stage 1: experience + approach discussion
  • Stage 2: SQL & scenario-based discussion (no heavy coding test)

If you’re a CRM / marketing analyst who enjoys thinking about how to measure impact properly - not just reporting results - this is a great opportunity to step into a more strategic role.
