Are you an experienced consultant with a strong understanding of Investment Management operations and a proven ability to contribute to the delivery of complex technology and data projects? An exciting opportunity awaits you to join a dynamic and growing team focused on transforming the data and platform landscape for leading investment firms in London. Our Investment Management Data Management & Platforms practice is expanding following a strategic acquisition, and we are seeking a talented Senior Consultant to play a key role in significant client programmes.
You will be instrumental in the implementation and optimization of critical front-to-back office platforms and data management strategies.
As a Senior Consultant, you will:
- Lead specific workstreams within data management and platform implementation projects for Investment Management clients.
- Analyze complex client requirements and design effective solutions.
- Take a hands-on role in the configuration and implementation of Investment Management platforms and data management solutions.
- Drive data migration, data quality, and data integration initiatives.
- Manage junior team members and contribute to their development.
- Engage effectively with client stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
- Apply your understanding of the Investment Management business, key data elements, and platform functionalities to deliver value.
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality project documentation and deliverables.
What you'll bring:
- Solid consulting experience within the financial services sector, ideally with exposure to Investment Management.
- Proven experience in contributing to the delivery of technology or data-focused projects.
- A strong understanding of the Investment Management business, including knowledge of security types, issuers, and industry operations.
- Experience with data management principles, methodologies, and potentially specific Data Management platforms (e.g., Markit EDM, GoldenSource, Kimball).
- For platform-focused roles, experience with front-to-back office platform implementations and an understanding of the trade lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience in managing small teams or workstreams is desirable.
