We're working with a leading global sports intelligence and analytics business that is growing its Media Rights team and looking to hire a Senior Analyst in London.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-4 years' experience and a strong understanding of sports media rights, broadcasting and the wider sports media landscape.
The role will involve:
- Tracking and analysing the global sports media rights market
- Researching and maintaining a database of rights deals
- Analysing deal structures and commercial trends
- Using proprietary models to value sports media rights
- Working with data to identify trends and generate insights
- Producing reports and client-ready analysis
- Supporting dashboards and data-driven products
- Responding to bespoke client questions and research requests
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience from sports rights holders, broadcasters, sports agencies, media businesses or sports/media consultancies.
You’ll need strong Excel, data analysis and modelling skills, as well as the ability to understand the commercial logic behind rights valuations and challenge whether outputs and assumptions make sense.
Sports media rights / TV broadcasting knowledge is essential - this could come from experience working directly with rights, broadcasting, media deals, sports commercial strategy or related areas.
