Now, we are building a new team to capitalize on the many untapped states with growing tech bases.
What's in it for you?
- High Earnings Potential: The average fee sizes compared to the UK market are substantial, with our average deal being between $40-50k, and our largest over the last year being in the $150k range.
- Less Saturation, More Opportunity: The US recruitment market is relatively less saturated than the UK, offering a wealth of opportunities for a specialized service.
- Extensive Experience: With a decade of in-person US market experience, we have a robust database to support your success.
- Significant Marketing Budget: Benefit from a substantial marketing budget designed to maximize your impact, with expert support to ensure your brand and business development efforts are effective.
- Career Growth: Opportunity to develop your career in a growing market with substantial backing and resources.
- Future Relocation: Enjoy the benefits of the US market without immediate relocation, but with potential for future relocation if desired.
The Role:
- Client Development: Securing new clients and developing these into repeat business.
- Market Expertise: Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of US market trends and opportunities.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Managing the recruitment process from initial contact to placement, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and candidates.

What We're Seeking:
No recruitment experience is necessary, but if you do have it - great, just great communication skills and a desire to succeed. We offer an in-depth training program to help you go from rookie to recruitment pro or for experienced recruiters a personalised L&D program to develop. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will actively onboard new clients through cold calling and pitch Harnham’s services, source ideal candidates, manage the client and candidate process, and meet KPIs and targets to achieve your short and long-term goals.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter eager to propel their career within a business unit with significant backing to develop new territory. If you're ready to make a significant impact and grow with us, apply now.
The Role
You will be a full-desk (360) recruiter which means you are responsible for taking ownership of the entire recruitment life cycle from start to finish. This means you will spend half of your day doing cold outreach and business development to build new client relationships & sell our services to high-level hiring managers at companies external to Harnham that need support in hiring specialized talent for their teams and then spend the other half of the day sourcing and screening qualified candidates for the roles.
You will develop candidate and client relationships through various means such as cold calling, headhunting, networking, etc., and will provide a high level of service and expertise in the market to become their go-to recruiter. You will be working in a highly productive sales environment and will be expected to consistently hit targets that have been set out for you. You can expect to face rejection (especially when cold calling) throughout the day as this is a sales role, so you must be able to be resilient and motivated to pick yourself back up and keep pushing forward.
