Principal Econometrician – Up to £70,000 – 3 days in Office (West London)

A leading UK-based media and telecoms organisation is hiring a Principal Econometrician to join one of the largest in-house econometrics teams in the country. The team is responsible for measuring the impact of hundreds of millions in annual advertising spend across multiple brands and channels.

The position will focus on supporting marketing effectiveness for the broadband and mobile divisions, particularly around a key commercial partnership that has recently launched. Campaigns are live and need to be evaluated across short-term sales, long-term brand impact, and ROI.

The successful candidate will lead on end-to-end modelling projects, deliver insights to commercial stakeholders, and support the development of junior members in the team. You’ll be managing four people (2 Econometricians, 2 Seniors) while still remaining close to the technical delivery.

Applicants should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing mix modelling
  • A strong technical foundation – any of R, Python, SQL or point-and-click econometric software
  • Experience translating econometric results into commercial recommendations

Salary up to £70,000 with performance bonus, private healthcare, and a range of employee discounts.

Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in West London
