A global online marketplace is hiring a Senior Pricing & Promotions Analyst to join a highly regarded analytics function, reporting into the Senior Manager for Pricing & Promotions. Part of a wider team of 10, this role will focus on delivering insight-led recommendations that shape pricing strategy and optimise promotional performance across the UK market.
The business facilitates tens of thousands of daily orders and operates at scale across multiple regions and verticals. This role is best suited to an analytically sharp, commercially focused individual who enjoys working in high-volume, fast-paced environments and has a strong grasp of how pricing and promotions impact wider trading performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Using SQL and Looker to analyse large datasets and monitor the impact of pricing and promotional activity
- Identifying root causes behind changes in sales performance and providing actionable recommendations
- Working closely with pricing, trading, and marketing teams to shape commercial strategy
- Supporting the development of dashboards and tools that enable teams to react quickly to market fluctuations
- Balancing reactive project work with longer-term strategy and testing initiatives
- Bringing a problem-solving mindset to a varied and fast-moving workload with multiple stakeholder groups
What we’re looking for:
