Do you want to productionise end-to-end enterprise GenAI systems? Have you built scalable ML platforms and MLOps infrastructure in production? Are you ready to establish ML Engineering capability inside a business heavily investing in AI? A large UK professional services organisation is building out its ML Engineering capability and hiring a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the function from the ground up. This is a hands-on role focused on production AI systems, MLOps, cloud ML infrastructure, and enterprise GenAI deployment. Current projects include large-scale document AI workflows using LLMs to process and structure complex documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Productionise LLM and GenAI systems
- Build scalable MLOps and deployment pipelines
- Develop AI infrastructure in Azure and Databricks
- Create data pipelines for enterprise AI workflows
- Work closely with DS teams and business stakeholders
Key details:
- £90k + ~10% bonus
- Essentially remote across the UK
- 35-hour week with flexible hours
- Stack: Azure ML, AI Foundry, Databricks, Python, FastAPI
- 12-month FTC with strong chance of permanent conversion
