You’ll lead the development and delivery of research that supports key decisions across the medical device sector. This includes running regular market trackers (covering things like market share and procedural volume), as well as managing custom surveys and phone-based qualitative studies. You’ll also work with internal teams—like editorial, sales, and events—to ensure research aligns with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a small team of researchers
- Lead quantitative and qualitative research projects from start to finish
- Deliver ongoing market tracking reports and one-off custom research
- Design and script surveys (e.g. in Qualtrics), analyse results, and create clear, useful reports
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Help develop new research products and contribute to proposals
- Work closely with other teams to share insights and guide strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in market research (agency or in-house), with strong quant skills
- Experience with market sizing, share tracking, or trend data
- Knowledge of healthcare, life sciences or MedTech (or strong interest in learning)
- Comfortable leading projects and mentoring team members
- Strong in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SPSS, Power BI or similar tools is a plus
- Good communicator with a commercial mindset and attention to detail
- Proactive and full of ideas—keen to improve processes and grow the function
