As a Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage teams of consultants in the delivery of data management solutions for Investment Management clients.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data-focused workstreams within large-scale platform implementation projects.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand their data challenges and strategic objectives.
- Provide expert guidance and direction on data governance, data quality, data migration, and data integration strategies.
- Leverage your understanding of the Investment Management business to ensure data solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development of data management methodologies and best practices within the team.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to business development activities and the shaping of new opportunities.
What you'll bring:
- Significant leadership experience within data management, ideally within the Investment Management sector.
- A strong track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex data-centric projects.
- Deep understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and technologies relevant to Investment Management.
- Proven experience in delivering within large programmes, particularly those involving Data Management platforms (e.g., Aladdin) or similar IM systems.
- A solid understanding of the Investment Management business, including knowledge of security types, issuers, and industry operations, with a specific focus on data implications.
- Experience in areas such as data strategy development, data architecture design, and the implementation of data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant Data Management platforms such as Markit EDM, GoldenSource, and Kimball is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
