THE COMPANY:
This B-Corp certified InsureTech business places sustainability, fairness, and customer experience at the heart of everything they build, and are now looking for their next Junior Data Engineer.
THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of designing, building, and scaling data platforms and pipelines that power critical business and customer-facing experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, maintaining, and optimising production data pipelines and workflows
- Contributing to new data platform initiatives, third‑party data integrations, and infrastructure improvements
- Owning data solutions end‑to‑end with a high level of autonomy from day one
- Collaborating closely with Product, Commercial, Analytics, and Data Science teams
- Influencing data architecture decisions and helping shape the future direction of the data engineering function
This is a highly collaborative, high-impact environment with strong expectations and fast progression.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will bring strong capability in:
- Excellent problem- solving ability and engineering fundamentals
- Strong academic background (with a preference for a STEM degree)
- Experience with Python, or similar languages
- Clear communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
THE BENEFITS:
