This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with administrative experience who is looking to start or develop a career in Human Resources. You do not need previous HR experience or a CIPD qualification, just strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in working with people and learning about HR.
Reporting directly to our Global HR Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our HR function across our UK, US, and Netherlands offices. You will be involved in all stages of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters to maintaining employee records, administering benefits, and supporting internal HR projects. With exposure to international HR operations, employment legislation, and employee relations, this role offers plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new responsibilities, and develop your career within HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Induction: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing contracts, completing Right to Work checks, and setting up employee records. Schedule inductions and work with internal teams to ensure new starters have everything they need for a smooth introduction to the business.
- HR Administration & Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information across our HR systems. Prepare and issue HR documentation, including employment letters, contract amendments, and references. Ensure employee records and HR documentation are organised, accurate, and compliant.
- Benefits & Absence Management: Support the administration of employee benefits across our UK, US, and Netherlands offices. Maintain absence records, support managers with HR system updates, and assist with timesheet administration. Help coordinate annual benefits processes and ensure employee information is kept up to date.
- Employee Lifecycle & Offboarding: Coordinate administrative processes when employees leave the business, including preparing documentation, updating systems, and notifying relevant teams. Support the Global HR Manager with general employee-related administration and queries.
- Internal Communications & HR Projects: Assist with internal HR communications, newsletters, and updates to our company intranet. Support initiatives relating to employee engagement, wellbeing, and company benefits. Get involved in HR projects, process improvements, and other initiatives across the wider business.
