A globally recognised consumer brand is hiring a Head of Analytics & Data Science to lead a newly combined Analytics and Data Science function. Created following a recent restructure, this role will unify reporting, analytics, insight and data science under a single strategy and operating model. This is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for driving data adoption, shaping strategy, influencing executive stakeholders and ensuring analytics and data science deliver measurable commercial impact.
The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 14 specialists and work closely with Product, Engineering, Governance and AI leadership teams. The role would suit an experienced Head or Director-level data leader who enjoys operating in entrepreneurial environments where they can shape direction, influence senior stakeholders and build high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Define and deliver the Analytics & Data Science strategy across the organisation
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning Analytics, BI and Data Science
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics and improve data accessibility
- Lead dashboard, reporting and insight transformation initiatives
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities
- Guide development of predictive models, forecasting tools and ML-driven solutions
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Governance teams to deliver measurable business impact
- Build a culture of experimentation, innovation and continuous improvement
- Salary: Up to £140,000 base
- Working: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in Central London
- Team: Direct responsibility for Analytics and Data Science leadership, managing c.14 specialists
- Tech Environment: SQL, Python, R, AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, Analytics & ML platforms
