THE ROLE

As a Data Manager / Data Projects Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and coordinate four key organisation-wide data projects
  • Spend 50% of the time on data literacy initiatives and 50% on wider data projects
  • Own and drive the organisation's data literacy agenda, improving data confidence and capability
  • Assess project demand and understand current vs. target-state delivery
  • Audit priorities across existing data infrastructure and strategy
  • Support prioritisation and alignment across multiple data workstreams
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders
  • Act as a coordinating lead for data activities (without direct line management)
  • Gather requirements and ensure alignment with the data team
  • Roll up sleeves to create materials, presentations, and supporting content

  • Strong grounding in data governance, analytics, visualisation, and storytelling

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with HR, data, and senior business leaders
  • Experience working with tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Confident operating in a supervisory / coordinating role across multiple workstreams
  • Comfortable creating content and materials, not just directing others
