Are you ready to work at the front edge of AI adoption, not buried in delivery? This is an opportunity to join the innovation arm of a global technology consultancy, operating like a startup within a large organisation. The team focuses on rapid AI prototyping, co-creation and experimentation with enterprise clients, designing and building proof-of-concepts and MVPs that demonstrate real business value in weeks.
You will work in small, cross-functional squads delivering hands-on AI solutions through workshops and hackathon-style builds, before handing successful concepts into enterprise delivery teams for scale.
The RoleAs an AI Architect, you will lead technical discovery and architecture design for AI PoCs and MVPs, balancing speed, pragmatism and a clear path to production. This is a highly client-facing, hands-on role, with around 50% of your time spent coding.
Key Responsibilities- Design lightweight AI architectures for PoCs and MVPs (2β6 weeks)
- Lead technical discovery in client workshops and innovation sprints
- Build and maintain reusable AI reference architectures and patterns
- Evaluate emerging GenAI tools, frameworks and platforms
- Design cloud-native, serverless architectures on Azure or AWS
- Define security, governance and production pathways for AI solutions
- Mentor engineers and support handover to scale delivery teams
- Salary: Β£80kβΒ£100k base (flexible for strong profiles)
- Working model: Hybrid, 3 days per week in London office
