You will step into a newly formed team within a large scale UK retailer with strong executive backing, real ownership, and the opportunity to elevate pricing from a traditional risk function into a core commercial capability.
- Define and deliver credit pricing strategies across customer acquisition and lifetime pricing.
- Lead the development and oversight of pricing, forecasting and performance models.
- Set and manage valuation metrics such as NPV, IRR and risk adjusted margins.
- Use testing and experimentation to assess pricing changes and optimise outcomes.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a team of analysts and data scientists within a growing commercial analytics function.
- Partner closely with product, analytics and engineering teams to improve data quality, automation and reporting.
Strong commercial experience within credit pricing, lending, financial services or a closely related regulated environment.
Deep understanding of unit economics, lifetime value and profitability frameworks.
Experience using testing methodologies such as A/B testing to inform pricing decisions.
Ability to balance commercial outcomes with risk management and regulatory expectations.
