Leicester (Hybrid structure 1 or 2 days a week in office). Harnham are working with a growing financial services organisation to bring in a Credit Risk Analyst at junior level to support a busy analytical team during an exciting period of new product development.

A data driven retail lender with a financial services business arm that has an established credit and fraud functions, supporting consumer lending products across the full customer life-cycle. The business places strong emphasis on analytical rigour, collaboration and developing talent early in their careers.
THE ROLE
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will work within a collaborative analytics team covering credit and fraud, contributing to insight generation, portfolio analytics and policy support. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects, including hands on experience with new product launches as the business expands, offering the opportunity to get strategically involved. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:
- Driving insight and analytics across the customer portfolio.
- Analysing customer trends to identify risk and performance opportunities.
- Supporting credit risk policy and model development supporting wider ad-hoc portfolio and strategy-related projects.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year experience working with data in an industry environment (such as a placement year).
- Technically proficient in SQL and confident with large data sets.
- Ability to communicate data outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders (2:1).
- STEM related Degree from a Russell group university.
