As a Power BI Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards for a variety of business functions.
  • Build robust data models, including advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformations, to support accurate and performant reporting.
  • Own ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into accessible datasets.
  • Implement and manage Row Level Security, alerts, and other governance features to keep data secure and accessible to the right audience.
  • Contribute to the wider data and reporting strategy, helping to consolidate reports and improve data quality and controls.

To be successful in this Power BI Developer role, you will bring:

  • Strong commercial experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Proven experience working with relational data and writing SQL to query and prepare data.
  • Solid understanding of ETL principles and experience building or working with ETL pipelines from multiple data sources.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Databricks.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a team oriented, agile environment.
  • Experience with T SQL or similar, and tools such as SSMS or Databricks.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Pivot and Power Query, for working with complex datasets.
  • Exposure to SSRS or other enterprise reporting tools.
  • An interest in or exposure to Python or R for more advanced analytics.
