Lead Marketing Analyst

London (Hybrid, 2 days in office) | Up to £85,000 plus benefits

You will lead analytical strategy across supply, operations, and marketing performance, helping shape how a major e‑commerce brand scales its customer proposition and operational efficiency.

The Role

  • Drive analytics across supply, operations, and demand, supporting decisions around stock availability, supplier behaviour, fulfilment routes, and customer impact.
  • Run A/B testing and experimentation to identify opportunities for operational and commercial optimisation.
  • Deliver insights on cost efficiency, including postage, shipping, and fulfilment performance.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of marketing and trading activity, feeding recommendations into senior stakeholders.
  • Build dashboards, models, and reporting in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Tableau.
  • Mentor at least one analyst and guide them through analytical project delivery.
  • Play a key role in the broader change and transformation function, contributing to strategies that improve scalability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to translate complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant insight.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in supply chain, operations, inventory, or marketing analytics within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Hands‑on technical capability across SQL, Python, and modern BI or visualisation tools.
  • Confidence designing and analysing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding analysts on project delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior, non‑technical audiences.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and willingness to work flexibly across strategy, analysis, and execution.
  • A customer‑first mindset and comfort operating in an environment with ongoing change and evolving processes.
