This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Data Analyst to join a fast growing data and technology business working at the intersection of media, marketing, and analytics. You will play a key role in shaping how advanced analytics is delivered, with clear progression into team leadership and broader strategic influence.
The Company
They are a London based technology and media organisation that partners with brands and agencies to improve marketing effectiveness and campaign performance. Founded within the last decade, they have quickly scaled to a team of around 100 specialists across analytics, engineering, and data science. Their work spans the full campaign lifecycle, from pre campaign strategy through to performance evaluation, leveraging proprietary technology and data driven insights to support client success.
The Role
You will join the Business Intelligence function, working closely with senior leadership to drive best practice in analytics delivery. This role blends hands on analysis with team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
Key responsibilities include
- Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics across marketing, customer, and commercial data
- Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring analytical quality and best practice across projects
- Manage and mentor junior analysts, with scope to grow a team over time
- Support pre campaign strategy, campaign execution insights, and post campaign performance analysis
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects, balancing priorities in a fast paced, client focused environment
- Contribute to improving processes, automation, and overall data capabilities within the team
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including data science and engineering to deliver impactful solutions
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience using Python for data analysis
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and delivering insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time pressure
- Experience leading projects or mentoring analysts
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding of data quality, validation, and best practice analytics workflows
- Exposure to dashboarding tools or additional programming languages is beneficial
- Background in media, marketing, or client focused environments is helpful but not essential
