Are you ready to shape AI architecture at scale across a national business? A major UK media and advertising business is hiring a Lead AI Engineer to help build out its internal AI capability. Operating at national scale with a large physical and digital footprint, they are investing heavily in AI to improve internal operations, automate workflows, and create business-facing AI products. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage of their AI journey and help shape how AI is architected, deployed, and scaled across the organisation. This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building production-grade AI systems, defining LLM architecture, and establishing engineering standards across a growing AI function.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build internal AI-powered applications solving real business problems
- Develop and deploy LLM-based assistants and automation workflows
- Build scalable APIs, backend services, and integrations
- Define and mature the organisation’s AI architecture and engineering standards
- Implement robust DevOps / MLOps practices for AI systems
- Mentor engineers and improve AI delivery capability across the team
- Work closely with product and business stakeholders to shape AI use cases

- Salary: £90,000–£100,000 base
- Bonus: 10% annual bonus
- Working model: Hybrid (2 days per week in Soho, London)
