The Role:
A well‑known brand in the UK is building an AI team in 2026, starting with 4x AI Engineers (1x mid‑level, 2x Snr AI Engineers and 1x Lead AI Engineer).
The scope of the role is extremely broad, offering the chance to come in and deliver impact across all business areas.
With strong investment from the board and CEO, this team will utilise the latest techniques and innovation in AI to deliver value at a business‑wide level.
You will be the voice for AI within the company and be responsible for helping to shape an AI strategy, identifying key projects to deliver significant value and impact.
NB: This role does not involve direct people management to begin with, but there will be opportunities (if wanted) as the team grows.
You:
- Experience in leading the delivery of AI solutions within an organisation from beginning to end
- Strong technical experience across traditional data science and machine learning as well as AI
- Technical leadership within the (growing) team – mentoring junior members of the team
- Innovation is a key part of this role
In this role you can earn between £130,000 – £140,000 + benefits (including a 20% bonus OTE)
