THE ROLE

This role is within a rapidly scaling martech environment. You’ll sit within the analytics and data science function, supporting increasingly complex measurement requirements across paid media, data platforms, and client tech stacks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and evolving measurement design across digital marketing and technology implementations
  • Leading GTM implementations and complex tracking setups across web and, where relevant, mobile
  • Designing holistic measurement strategies, assessing whether existing events and signals are sufficient and defining how they should evolve over time
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation, including data layer specifications and development requirements

  • Testing, debugging, and validating tracking implementations across tag management systems
  • Advising on governance, privacy, and data quality considerations
  • Working closely with analytics, data science, and engineering teams to refine and improve data infrastructure
  • Acting as a trusted technical partner to internal stakeholders, translating complexity into clear, actionable guidance

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong background in digital analytics, measurement, or martech-focused roles
  • Proven experience with tag management systems, including hands-on testing and debugging
  • Deep understanding of server-side tracking and tagging concepts and implementations
  • Ability to create clear development specifications and data layer documentation
  • Experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, GTM, and related marketing tools
  • Broader experience in measurement design rather than narrow implementation-only work
  • Comfortable working autonomously and solving ambiguous, situational problems
  • Strong awareness of data governance, privacy, and consent considerations

BENEFITS

  • Salary up to £55,000
  • Flexible, hybrid working
  • Exposure to high-profile consumer brands across multiple sectors
