As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of core platform development and help drive a major digital transformation across the business. You’ll work on high‑impact systems spanning quoting, installation, invoicing, customer apps and integrations. The role is approximately 80‑90% backend and 10‑20% frontend. You can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Designing, building and maintaining backend services and APIs (PHP, Laravel)
  • Improving internal development standards, processes and code quality
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines and instilling modern engineering practices
  • Contributing to frontend applications where needed (Vue.js)
  • Mentoring mid‑level engineers and supporting broader technical delivery
  • Collaborating directly with business stakeholders on discovery and solution design

The successful Senior Backend Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in backend engineering – PHP & Laravel
  • Professional experience with Vue.js
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business
  • Experience mentoring or technically supporting other engineers (preferred)
  • Exposure to integration or data‑driven projects (desirable)

The successful Senior Backend Engineer will receive the following benefits:
