Their platform is used by IP teams globally to automate drafting, litigation workflows, and document analysis. With over £50m in funding from institutional investors, and rapid revenue growth into eight figures, the company is scaling aggressively.
The role involves hiring AI Engineers to design, build, and deploy production-grade GenAI systems in a high-stakes legal environment. This is a deeply hands-on engineering role focused on shipping reliable systems used by real customers.
Key responsibilities:- Build and deploy LLM-powered features across drafting, prosecution, and litigation workflows
- Design and maintain RAG pipelines over large, complex legal and technical corpora
- Own systems from prototype through to production
- Focus on robustness, evaluation, and reliability in precision-critical use cases
- Collaborate closely with full-stack engineers and domain experts
- Strong AI research background with top publications or a strong software engineering background
- Excellent production engineering fundamentals regardless of background
- No data-science-heavy profiles
- Comfortable being scrappy and hands-on in a fast-scaling environment
- Ideally 2+ years of experience, but open to exceptional graduates or more senior engineers
- Infrastructure or deployment experience (AWS, Terraform) is a bonus
