The role sits within a small, established BI function that already has leadership, analysts, and reporting infrastructure in place. What’s missing right now is bandwidth. You’ll come in to support the migration of existing legacy reports into Power BI while the wider team remains fully committed elsewhere.
Responsibilities:
- Migrating legacy reports and dashboards into Power BI
- Building and optimising Power BI dashboards using best practice
- Writing and maintaining advanced DAX measures
- Working with existing SQL schemas to retrieve and shape data
- Ensuring dashboards are performant, documented, and ready for production use
- Working closely with BI leadership and analysts to hit tight delivery timelines
- Communicating progress clearly and proactively throughout
Skills & Experience:
- Strong Power BI experience, with a track record of building production dashboards
- Advanced DAX capability
- Experience using version control with Power BI
- Comfortable using more advanced Power BI features (such as field parameters)
- Strong SQL querying skills and confidence working with an existing data schema
