Director of AI (Gen AI OR Computer Vision OR Deep Learning)

This exciting start up (operating within the content creation, VFX and media space) is currently in their hypergrowth space. With high-profile clients, they're looking specifically for someone with management experience within AI (growth, team leadership, exposure to newer AI technologies) and data recruitment experience at a previous company.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading an impressive team of AI Research Scientists and Engieners to build and scale ML models focusing on Computer Vision, LLMs and ML
- Applying the latest research to commercial problems
- Liaise and work alongside start up founders, with a chance to have real autonomy and drive commercial and technical value
- Driving the latest innovative research in AI, deploying core projects onto their platform
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- Impressive academics at a top university
- Experience in either Computer Vision (2D or 3D), GenAI, LLM (Agents and Fine tuning), Machine Learning
- Actively looking to join a company – short notice periods preferred
- Experience across management or AI recruitment responsibilities at a previous role is required
