Digital Data Analyst (Website Analytics)
Burton Upon Trent / London – Hybrid (1–2 days onsite)

The Company
A well-known hospitality brand is growing its digital analytics function and looking for a hands-on Digital Data Analyst to join the team. You’ll be the go-to for web analytics across 80+ sites — helping the business truly understand how customers interact online and where the biggest opportunities lie to improve performance.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in improving the digital customer journey through cleaner data, sharper insights, and smarter reporting.
Expect to get involved in:
- Building dashboards and reports in GA4, SQL, Looker, and Power BI
- Analysing user drop-off points and conversion trends
- Validating tracking and debugging tags to ensure data integrity
- Pulling data from multiple sources to build a clear digital performance picture
- Partnering closely with marketing, product, and development teams to influence strategy
Your Skills
You’ll need:
- Strong hands-on experience with GA4 – you use it daily and know your way around custom reporting
- Solid SQL skills for querying and analysis
- Experience with Looker or Power BI – you can showcase dashboards you’ve built
- A knack for data validation and tag debugging
- The ability to translate insights for non-technical stakeholders
Working Setup
- Hybrid – 1–2 days a week onsite between Burton Upon Trent and London
- Expect around 2 days per month in Burton for key stakeholder sessions
- Flexible setup, but the team values regular in-person collaboration
