The Role
As a Digital Analyst, you\’ll play a key role in optimising the online customer journey through in-depth analysis using GA4. Reporting to the Customer Digital Analytics Lead, you’ll work cross-functionally to provide insights that support decision-making and improve digital performance across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who’s technically strong, commercially aware, and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse the customer journey and website performance across key KPIs (sales, transactions, engagement).
- Lead GA4 audits, implementations, and reporting – becoming the subject matter expert within the team.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the digital experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to present findings and influence strategy.
- Stay informed on digital and retail trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong GA4 experience – implementation, auditing, and analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Solid understanding of A/B testing and using data to optimise performance.
- SQL experience, within BigQuery
- Strong stakeholder management skills – confident communicator who can explain complex data clearly.
- Commercially minded with a curiosity for eCommerce and customer behaviour.
- Experience in the retail or eCommerce sector.
- Exposure to app analytics and omnichannel customer data.
