HYBRID (1-2 DAYS PER MONTH IN THE OFFICE - LONDON) 7 MONTH CONTRACT

THE COMPANY: Join a global media business with a key focus on improving commercial visibility, pricing strategy, and revenue management processes.

THE ROLE: As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with commercial stakeholders across a specific European market to help shape and deliver revenue management and pricing analytics solutions. Each market is at a different stage of maturity, meaning this role will combine structured delivery work with more exploratory and discovery-led problem solving. You will be responsible for translating commercial questions into analytical requirements, building dashboards and reporting solutions, and supporting wider pricing and revenue optimisation initiatives.

As a Data Scientist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building analytical solutions to support pricing and revenue management decisions
  • Developing dashboards and reporting outputs in Tableau
  • Writing complex SQL scripts and exploratory analyses
  • Conducting advanced analysis around pricing, inventory demand, capacity forecasting, and commercial performance
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data requirements
  • Supporting the creation of tools and frameworks that influence pricing decisions across multiple markets
  • Collaborating within an agile squad environment alongside Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and commercial stakeholders
  • Presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong hands‑on SQL experience
  • Python experience for advanced modelling, forecasting, optimisation, or exploratory analytics
  • Experience working on pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, or forecasting projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working closely with commercial or operational teams
  • The ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • Experience working within agile squads and cross‑functional environments
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and helping shape early‑stage analytical initiatives
  • Experience within media or advertising environments would be highly beneficial
