A leading global law firm is building a new R&D function focused on developing AI-enabled products and data-driven solutions. The team is investing heavily in its data foundations, creating trusted, reusable assets that will support AI applications, analytics and business decision-making. This is a genuinely greenfield opportunity within a small, high-impact team where you'll have significant ownership and visibility. You'll work across engineering, analytics and machine learning projects that solve real business problems.
Role summary:
We're looking for a Data Science Engineer to build scalable data products, pipelines and analytical solutions within Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. The role combines Data Engineering and Data Science, offering the opportunity to work across forecasting, machine learning, NLP and AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
- Develop reusable data assets, lakehouse models and analytical datasets
- Deliver predictive modelling, forecasting and machine learning solutions
- Perform EDA, data quality analysis and stakeholder-driven investigations
- Develop NLP, information extraction and document-analysis capabilities
- Implement data governance, monitoring and quality controls
- Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business value
Working Model: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the Tower Bridge London office
