About the Role
You’ll join the Product function, working alongside leading AI and data specialists. The team is focused on delivering innovative, data-driven products that make a measurable difference to customers and the business.
As the Product Manager for the Data & Data Science team, you’ll own the data platform roadmap and backlog – driving strategy, performance, and innovation across distributed data systems, ETL pipelines, and data science capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the vision and strategy for data products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage the backlog for data engineering and data science teams, prioritising initiatives that enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Translate complex data and AI requirements into clear, actionable product stories.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, and design to deliver high-quality data features and platform improvements.
- Champion a user-centric approach by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and drive data-led decision making.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the success and impact of data product initiatives.
- Stay ahead of market trends in data engineering, big data, and AI — ensuring the product remains at the forefront of innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Senior Data Analyst.
- Proven experience managing or contributing to data platform or data science roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial impact.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and APIs.
- Understanding of market research, business case creation, and KPI setting.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and modern data workflows.
Bonus Points
- Experience working with AWS or GCP.
- Exposure to high-volume data platforms in AdTech or MarTech environments.
