The Role
They are looking for a Data Modeller to play a critical role in transforming a currently fragmented and complex data landscape into a scalable, structured, and reusable data foundation. This is a highly business-facing role, ideal for someone who understands real estate or property data and can translate that into clear, structured data models. A key part of the role will involve working with complex, legacy datasets and bringing structure and consistency, ensuring data is properly categorised (for example leasing costs and asset-level data) and usable across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Create a standardised and reusable modelling framework across the business
- Translate real estate and leasing business requirements into structured data models
- Work closely with data engineers to enable scalable implementation
- Partner with stakeholders to define how data should be modelled and consumed
- Support use cases across financial reporting, leasing analysis, and asset performance
- Bring clarity and structure to legacy and complex datasets
- Contribute to building a centralised data modelling function
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data modelling (logical and physical)
- Proven ability to work with complex or legacy datasets
- Strong SQL-based modelling experience
- Experience working in Azure environments (Databricks and Fabric preferred)
- Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
- Background in real estate, property, or other asset-heavy industries
- Experience working with leasing data, asset management, or property portfolios
- Understanding of financial data in a real estate context
