The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior-level data engineering role within a global technology business that’s transforming the way customers connect with everyday services. You’ll play a key part in building and optimizing modern data pipelines, supporting a major migration from Tableau to Looker, and ensuring the delivery of clean, reliable, and scalable data solutions.

The team operates with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and autonomy, giving you the chance to influence data strategy and mentor others. You’ll work closely with analytics and marketing stakeholders to bring data-driven insights to life and help shape the future of customer experience. The Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, automated data pipelines that power critical business insights. You’ll work across multiple teams to translate complex data needs into scalable, efficient solutions that support reporting and analytics.

A key part of the role will involve supporting a major migration to a new BI platform and ensuring data quality and consistency throughout. You’ll also take ownership of troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation, ensuring smooth operations across diverse data sources. This position offers the chance to mentor others, contribute to best practices, and make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, data-driven environment.

Interview Process

  • SQL Test on Kaggle with one of the team. It’ll be 2 Live-Coding questions so they’ll need to write code. They can ask questions and it’s quite interactive.
  • Skills based interview - 45 minutes. 30 minutes questions from JET and then 15 minutes time for candidates to ask questions.
