An innovative and dynamic organisation with a strong focus on data-driven marketing and customer engagement is seeking to appoint a CRM Database Manager. This is a key role at the heart of the company’s database operations, supporting growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering insights that shape strategic marketing decisions.

The Role:

As CRM Database Manager, you will be the organisation’s go-to expert for HubSpot and database marketing. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the database, ensuring data integrity, optimising processes, and delivering actionable insights to inform marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Database Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand the EMJ database through a combination of organic and paid initiatives
• Database Management: Take ownership of the database, ensuring data quality, optimising customer retention, and maintaining efficient operational processes
• HubSpot Expertise: Maintain database health, manage data workflows, and enhance customer journey processes within HubSpot, ensuring best practice compliance
• Data Insight & Reporting: Lead marketing performance reporting, analyse key metrics, and provide strategic recommendations for optimisation
• Business Impact: Utilise data to identify trends, propose solutions, and drive improved outcomes for both customer engagement and client-facing initiatives

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A strong background in database marketing, CRM management, or related roles
• Demonstrable expertise in HubSpot, particularly in segmentation, workflows, and reporting
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, and other relevant platforms
• A proactive, data-driven mindset with a focus on identifying trends and driving continuous performance improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable marketing strategies
