Our client, a leading organisation in the railway and transportation sector, is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join their Revenue Management team.
Role
This role sits at the heart of the business, playing a critical role across inventory management, commercial timetabling, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and yield management. You will be responsible for driving revenue performance through a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, leading key revenue management initiatives while ensuring strong day-to-day execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving revenue performance from both a strategic and operational perspective
- Leading and delivering internal revenue management initiatives
- Balancing longer-term strategic priorities with high-quality day-to-day delivery
- Managing workflows effectively to ensure priorities are met across the team
- Supporting and enabling the team to achieve revenue management targets
- Taking ownership of a core route (initially likely Anglo-Scottish, subject to internal movement)
Your skills and experience
- Strong background in revenue management and yield management
- Highly numerical and analytical mindset with strong Excel skills
- Proven track record of delivering commercial impact and results
- Experience in the transport sector strongly preferred
