A leading strategic communications agency specialising in global security, conflict, and behavioural change is seeking a Creative Strategist to join their team in London. This role combines insight, research, and creative strategy to design campaigns that influence behaviours in complex and sensitive environments across Central and Eastern Europe.
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + benefits
Location: Hybrid - London (flexible hybrid, option to work from abroad)
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of creative strategies for multi-channel campaigns, translating digital, media, and audience insights into clear strategic direction.
- Turn research, OSINT, and audience data into compelling narratives, message frameworks, and campaign propositions.
- Design creative briefs to guide the development of digital and other content assets.
- Facilitate creation workshops and working sessions to ensure cultural relevance and contextual accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Creative Directors, and production teams to ensure outputs meet strategic objectives.
- Embed safeguarding, ethical, and security considerations throughout creative development.
- Work with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and research teams to track campaign performance and refine strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 4-5 years' experience in creative strategy, communications planning, or campaign design.
- Demonstrated experience developing insight-driven campaigns in complex or sensitive environments.
- Strong understanding of influence operations and audience behaviour in fragile or contested information spaces.
- Proven ability to synthesise research, OSINT, and behavioural insights into actionable strategies and narratives.
- Excellent writing and conceptual skills, producing creative briefs, messaging frameworks, and campaign propositions.
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with insights, creative, digital, and production teams.
- Confidence in client-facing settings, presenting strategic recommendations and creative concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Security clearance required.
